Kenya's Wild Side: A New Adventure Awaits

The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has launched the Heritage Trails Expedition & Barngetuny Run, a five-day adventure that will take participants through the stunning landscapes of Laikipia, Elgeyo Marakwet, Uasin Gishu, Baringo, and Nandi counties.

From hiking through ancient forests to biking along scenic trails, this expedition offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Kenya's diverse culture and breathtaking natural beauty. The series culminates with the Barngetuny Run, a challenging race that will test the endurance of even the most seasoned athletes.

A Year-Round Adventure

The Magical Kenya Mountain & Trail Series is a year-round initiative that includes a variety of events, each offering a unique experience:

  • Nyamira Great Run Edition (May)

  • Mt. Kenya Mountain Run Edition (June)

  • Aberdare’s Trail Run Edition (August)

  • Mt. Longonot Edition (November)

  • Mt. Elgon Run (December)
